Dr. Morris Samson, MSc, DVM, recently participated in the Beit Halochem Canada, Aid to Disabled Veterans of Israel "Courage in Motion" bike ride.
According to Lisa Levy, Executive Director of Beit Halochem Canada, Dr. Samson rode with 30 international cyclists in this 5-day, 500km ride celebrating and recognizing the significant contribution made by more than 51,000 men and women who have been wounded while defending the State of Israel. The fundraising efforts of this ride raised $40,00 for Beit Halochem, a significant and meaningful contribution to this cause.
Ms. Levy commented, “It was an honour and a privilege for Dr. Samson to join in this ride as well as a testament to his personal commitment and drive to support Beit Halochem Canada; not only did Dr. Samson ride alongside Israel's disabled war veterans and victims of terror, he did this while going through his own personal struggle with thyroid cancer.”
Ms. Levy furthere commented, “Beit Halochem Canada deeply appreciates the effort and contribution of Dr. Morris Samson.”
